Well, it's my life......in a nutshell.
I graduated with my BS is psychology 6 months ago. Perhaps psychology isn't the best option for those not planning to attend grad school. And since I have spent my entire adult life raising my babies into kids, I have no real work experience. Sad, but true.
So now I am on the lookout for a job.....like, a REAL job. Not that Mommy-ing isn't a real job....but the pay stinks, the hours are long, the conditions are often less than perfect, and the retirement plan is a joke. I need something that pays.....and preferably pays well.
Plan B is grad school. I'm praying for a job.
In the meantime, I'm trying to come up with ways to keep me busy all day while spy-guy and miss-priss are at school. Since spending all day online enhancing my daughter's wardrobe turned out to be the primary cause of our lack of funds, I am trying to find a new hobby that doesn't require me to make multiple pay-pal purchases every day.
The result? What a Girl Wants. My own page (on Facebook) dedicated to making accessories for little girls (bows, clips, and eventually jewelry). I'm also hosting an upscale consignment on my page to sell the items people like me spent too much money on and would like to sell. With a lot of luck, and hopefully some help from everyone I know, I hope to be able to sell some of my items.
That is, while I'm waiting for that real job to come around.
